With Gratitude, On My Final Day
A note of thanks as I begin my next chapter.

Dear friends and colleagues,
As I write this on my final day, I find myself feeling a full mix of emotions: gratitude, nostalgia, pride, and just a little disbelief that this chapter is coming to a close. Retirement is a joyful milestone, but saying goodbye to the people who made this work meaningful is not easy.
Thank you for the years of partnership, trust, support, laughter, problem-solving, and shared purpose. I have been fortunate to work alongside people who care deeply about doing good work and caring for one another while doing it.

A few memories I’ll carry with me
There are the big moments, of course: the launches, the deadlines we somehow met, the challenges that asked more of us than we thought we had, and the milestones we paused to celebrate together.
But the memories that stay closest are often the quieter ones: a hallway conversation that made a hard day lighter, the coffee chats that turned into good ideas, the patient explanations, the quick check-ins, and the countless small kindnesses that made this place feel human.
I will always remember the pride of seeing our collective effort become something useful, thoughtful, and lasting.
A shared joke, a knowing look in a long meeting, and the warmth of ordinary days made the years richer than any title or project could capture.
In the moments that were difficult, I saw people offer patience, courage, creativity, and care. That is the memory I treasure most.

Thank you, each in your own way
To the mentors who guided me, the teammates who challenged and encouraged me, the leaders who trusted me, the newer colleagues who reminded me to keep learning, and the friends who made the workplace feel welcoming: thank you.
I know I cannot name every person or every kindness, but please know that I leave with deep appreciation for the many ways you have shaped my time here. You have given me memories I will revisit often and with great fondness.

A few parting words of encouragement
Keep caring for one another. Keep making room for new voices. Keep asking the thoughtful question, offering the patient answer, and taking pride in the quiet excellence that often happens behind the scenes.
The future of this team is bright not because the work is easy, but because the people here are capable, generous, and committed. I will be cheering you on from the next chapter.
It is hard to say goodbye to a place and a group of people who have meant so much. Still, I leave with a peaceful heart, grateful for the journey and confident in all that is ahead for you.
Thank you for letting me be part of this story. I will carry it with me always.
