Please read all instructions carefully before recording. This guide outlines the sides to prepare, performance notes, technical requirements, file naming format, and how to submit your completed self-tape.

- Role you are auditioning for
- Agency or representation, if applicable
- Availability or conflict notes, if requested
|
|
|
|
|
- Be as familiar with the material as possible. Off-book is preferred, but truthful, connected work is the priority.
- Use a reader off-camera. The reader should be clear and supportive but not louder than you.
- Keep your eyeline close to the camera, slightly off lens, unless the scene specifically calls for direct address.
- Avoid full costumes, heavy props, or distracting business. Simple suggestions are fine when they support the scene.
- Make specific, bold, grounded choices that serve the character and circumstances.

Technical Requirements Checklist
|
|
Before submitting, please confirm your tape meets these requirements:
- Landscape orientation unless otherwise specified
- Stable camera placed at eye level
- Good front-facing light with your face clearly visible
- Quiet recording space with minimal background noise
- Clear audio, with dialogue easy to understand
- Plain, uncluttered background
- Frame from chest or waist up unless the scene requires otherwise
- No heavy filters, music, title cards, or distracting edits
- Export as MP4 or MOV when possible
