On paper, this looks like a classic roster-shape trade. One side appears to be targeting immediate production, while the other is adding depth, upside, future flexibility, or some combination of all three. In other words: both managers can explain the move, which is always a promising start.

Both managers clearly had a plan here, which is more than we can say for some waiver-wire decisions this season. As always, time, box scores, and one dramatic Sunday night performance will decide who gets to brag about this one.

That is all for this trade bulletin. Review your roster, keep the negotiations moving, and remember: every championship run starts with one bold move and at least three questionable bench decisions.
